She received her certification in the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® method level 1, GYROKINESIS® and Dancers Application Course under Specialized Master Trainers:  Juergen Bamberger and Miriam Barbosa. She is also certified in the Jumping-Stretching Board.

What is GYROTONIC® excersise?

The GYROTONIC® method is an exercise modality, developed by Juliu Horvath that guides users to simultaneously stretch and strengthen muscles and tendons while also articulating and mobilizing the joints. Corresponding breathing patterns are engaged during the performance of the exercises, thereby increasing coordination, endurance and aerobic activity. This unique system offers the same benefits also derived from yoga, dance, gymnastics, swimming and tai chi, but is not derived from these exercises modalities.

The repertoire consists of a series of specially designed exercises performed on equipment which is built around the human body with regards to total freedom in movement, no restriction to speed and versatility, and enhances rather than distracts from coordination, strength and flexibility. It emphasizes multiple joint articulations without compression, thus strengthening ligaments and each attachment.

Each exercise is synchronized with a corresponding breathing pattern and is performed with either a rhythm or melodic rhythmical expression, creating a gentle or vigorous cardiovascular-aerobic stimulation, depending on the intensity and speed of the execution. Special attention is paid to increase the functional capacity of the spine, resulting in a superior and well-proportioned body, which is significantly less prone to injuries.


What is GYROKINESIS® exercise ?
The GYROKINESIS® method is a movement practice that gently works the entire body, opening energy pathways, stimulating the nervous system, increasing range of motion, and creating functional strength through rhythmic, flowing movement sequences. It is an original, and unique movement practice which offers similar benefits also derived from Yoga, Tai Chi, gymnastics, and dance. It has the same principles of the GYROTONIC® method, but does so without the use of equipment. The GYROKINESIS® method is practiced in group or private classes, similar to a dance or yoga class. Like a dance class, flow and rhythm are essential to the curriculum. But unlike a yoga class, there is no position holding or potential for energetic stagnation. The GYROKINESIS® method provides a mobile workout that can be easily performed at home, in the office, or traveling.
